Dubai Properties says enabling works on 46-storey tower site began in January
Dubai Properties (DP) has said that it has begun construction on 1/JBR, a luxury tower project announced during last year’s Cityscape property show.
The developer, a unit of Dubai Holding, said in a statement that the final design of the tower had been completed, and the plan was in the final stages of approval with local authorities.
Located at the entrance of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), the 46-storey tower includes five-bed penthouses and all apartments offer panoramic sea views, the developer has said.
DP added that 1/JBR also features 2- to 4-bedroom apartments, all with a unique glass façade and wide sundecks. The tower enjoys private access, with no more than three to four residences per elevator lobby, and penthouses on the top two levels. Selected residences include provision upgrades for private pools.
The completion and delivery of the project is set for early 2019.
Dubai Properties previously developed The Walk at JBR. With a promenade that stretches 1.7km, JBR is a popular tourist destination, which welcomed over 12 million visitors in 2014.
