Dubai Government’s revamped web portal, www.dubai.ae, is unveiled at the Trade Centre today, revealing a host of new services to the region's denizens. “When we took part for the first time in Gitex Dubai last year, Dubai e-Government had not even launched its portal. We are highlighting this aspect of the portal this Gitex,” explained Mr Salem Al Shair, director of e-Services for Dubai e-Government.Now entering the second phase of operation, the portal will gradually absorb under its umbrella the web services of other government departments, with uniform standards throughout paving the way for effective integration. In addition to the revised portal, Dubai e-Government is showcasing other exciting web features, including e-jobs, e-forms and interactive flight information, which will be reported upon here in further detail in coming days.
