Dubai eGovernment will have a strong presence at GITEX this year with 28 of its departments participating in the show.

The departments, which include Dubai Courts, Dubai Tourism and Dubai Police, will be involved in a presentation of Dubai eGovernment's electronic services.

"In just six years of operation, Dubai eGovernment has succeeded in accelerating Dubai's transformation to a digital society, positioning the emirate as a pioneer in creating a knowledge-based economy," said Salem Al Shair, director, eServices at Dubai eGovernment.

"GITEX will be an excellent platform to showcase our groundbreaking initiatives and create awareness among all residents about the numerous benefits of the eServices that have been established."

Dubai eGovernment will be based at Stand D8-1 in Hall 8 of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
