Dubai eGovernment is carrying out a quality report into the efficacy of its electronic services.
The report covers a number of areas including ease of use, quality of service and access to e-services, Dubai eGovernment's eServices director Salem Al Shair told ITP.net.
Results of the report should be ready by the end of October, he said.
Dubai first launched its eGovernment project in 2001. Approximately 62% of its services are available online as of the end of the fourth quarter 2006 with the Government aiming to have 90% of services electronic by the end of the year.
Adoption of services is currently "almost 50%", Al Shair told ITP.net. "We have a high penetration of internet users," he said.
Internet user penetration for the UAE was 35.8% in mid-2006, according to the latest figures from Arab Advisors.
The most used services are traffic fines enquiries and payment of bills, the Dubai eGovernment website states.
