The second Dubai edition of TIECon, often dubbed Silicon Valley's largest entrepreneurial conference, is due to take place on Wednesday, 30 September, and Thursday, 1 October.
The invitation-only event is expected to bring together more than 300 prominent entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, corporate leaders, industry experts and innovators from the UAE and its 17 neighbouring countries.
The agenda includes topics related to e-commerce, funding, innovation, smart cities, the Internet of Things, smart humans, entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world, and more.
In addition to a series of keynote speeches, presentations, panel discussions, TiECon 2015 will host students and young entrepreneurs to allow them to connect with the representatives of incubators and investors in a special XTalk format during the second day.
Speaking about the event, PK Gulati, President of TiE Dubai & Member of the TiE Global Board, said: "This event will highlight our commitment to entrepreneurship in the (Middle East) region and the contributions that we (TiE Dubai) are making to the growth of start-ups here.
“This year's event will build on last year's success and bring a new crop of international start-up entrepreneurial heavyweights to share their personal journeys and present their insights to start-ups and entrepreneurs in the region."
Last year’s event featured a high-profile line-up of speakers including Osman Sultan, Fadi Ghandour, Majed Al-Suwaidi, Dany Farha, Dave McClure and Yousef Hamidaddin.
Founded in 1992 in the Silicon Valley, TiE (Think, Inspire, Execute) is a global not-for-profit organisation fostering entrepreneurship, and has been billed as the world’s number-one entrepreneurial convention.
TiE's eco-system comprises 13,000 members and 2,500 Charter Members with 60 Chapters across 17 countries around the world.
