Dubai's Burj al Arab to go green for St Patrick's Day

Dubai’s iconic Burj al Arab hotel is to go green this
Thursday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, the annual global celebration of things
Irish.

The seven-star hotel, which is managed by Jumeirah Group and
whose CEO is Irishman Gerard Lawless, will be lit in green to mark the occasion
– the traditional colour of Ireland.

The Burj al Arab will join other global icons - including
the Empire State Building in New York, Table Mountain in Cape Town and the
London Eye – to celebrate Ireland’s National Day.
