Resident sushi chef Kiichi Okabe will teach students the art and history of the cuisine
Sushi-lovers prepare to get your hands dirty! Japanese restaurant and lounge OKKU has designed sushi and cocktail master-classes starting today February 11.
OKKU’s resident sushi chef Kiichi Okabe will teach students the art and history of the cuisine and guide them in preparing classic and “O” style Sushi dishes at OKKU’s Sushi bar.
For the cocktail master classes, the venue’s bar tenders will guide students through the art of mixology by teaching them methods of making two classic cocktails, followed by one award winning “O” style signature cocktail.
The classes were designed to create a unique, interactive experience for Sushi lovers and act as an ideal entertainment option for celebrations, corporate events, or in formal get-togethers.
Once participants are done with their creations, they can enjoy them with complimentary canapés or dine from one of OKKU’s set menu.
The classes are in affect every Sunday through Saturday from 7pm.
Package prices for Sushi and cocktail classes start at AED250 ($68), each, per person.
OKKU is situated in the H hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road and is a multi-award winning Japanese Restaurant and Lounge, known for its 8-metre jellyfish aquarium.
