Dubai Wine Fair dates announced

Event organiser, Turret Middle East, has announced the date of this year's International Dubai and Wine Beverage Fair (DW&BF) for February 21 to 22.

Event organiser, Turret Middle East, has announced the date of this year's International Dubai and Wine Beverage Fair (DW&BF) for February 21 to 22. In its fifth year, the event, which will be held at Al Bustan Rotana's Convention Centre, will see more than 110 exhibitors from across the globe take part, and is expected to attract 1500 trade visitors.

"The DW&BF is a unique event to the Middle East, as it brings together some of the leading producers of fine wines and spirits, as well as the key decision makers," commented Gary Gilmour, sales director, Turret Middle East.

"The UAE is an important market, but this event is about reaching out to the rest of the Middle East, as well as North Africa and India, as there is a lot of business to be had across the region," he added.

Aimed at increasing awareness of brands already in the market, Gilmour said DW&BF also provided a chance for companies trying to penetrate the region to promote their products.

Already scheduled to exhibit, are winemakers Paul Jaboulet Aine, Veyret Latour, Les Vins des Pierre Montagnac and Miguel Torres, among others.

"The show is not open to the public, so it is an ideal chance for producers to meet duty free organisers, food and beverage managers and regional distributors," added Gilmour.
