Thai-hotel operator reveals plans for its three luxury developments on The Palm Jumeirah.
Al Osaimi Investments and Real Estate has unveiled the initial plans of its US $1.5 billion development on The Palm Jumeirah - the Dusit Emirates Saray Palm Jumeirah Hotel Resorts and Residences.
Set to open in 2010, the development, on the right-hand side of The Palm's crescent, includes three properties: the high-end Dusit Deverana, the Dusit Thani, and the Residence.
The 116-room Dusit Devarana has been pitched as a seven-star property, and will include the operator's Dusit Devarana Spa, and two restaurants in the Indian-themed building.
With 292 rooms and suites, the five-storey Dusit Thani is a Moroccan-themed family resort, which includes a miniature golf course. Guests will also be able to stay in the Palm Lagoon - 10 free-standing chalets surrounded by water and with views of the Gulf and the Palm Island.
The Residence, which is set to go on sale this week, will offer residents two-storeyed three-bedroom townhouses, duplexes, three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom penthouses. Residents will have access to four free-standing international restaurants located directly on the beach.
Al Osaimi has entered into several strategic agreements for the development, including links with Amlak as the financial mortgage partner for third-party buyers, Wilson & Associates for interior design, APCC for contracting and enabling works and PROJACS for project management.
