E-business summit to be staged in Dubai

Six e-business essentials to be discussed at a summit hosted by Global Management Consultants.

A conference that promises to furnish firms with proven e-business solutions across six 'building blocks' of business, is being staged in Dubai (October 22-23 2000).

Summit Dubai, dubbed the region's first-ever business symposium by organisers, Global Management Consultants, will spotlight from the e-age viewpoint what it considers to be the six business essentials: business strategy, leadership, HR, information technology, finance and administration and marketing.

"This is not another IT event but 'an e-business forum with a difference'", according to Global's chief executive, Saira Azhar.

"It is not about hardware and systems. Summit Dubai is about the impact of e-business on the day-to-day operations of companies of all sizes and about how they can embrace e-business solutions for organisational effectiveness."
