Trans World Holding, owner of Dandy Mega Mall, is one of Egypt’s biggest conglomerates

Egypt’s Trans World Holding has announced an agreement with Swedish fashion retailer H&M to open a new store in Dandy Mega Mall.

The deal is being done in partnership with Mohamed Alshaya, one of the Middle East’s leading retail companies, according to a statement.

The new store announcement is the latest in a series of agreements signed by Trans World Holding with international retailers, including Britain’s Marks & Spencer.

Ezz Eldin El Nattar, the mall's marketing director said: "Our overall growth strategy will help raise the standards of retail shopping in Egypt, as we aim to attract more international iconic brands to the Egyptian market.”

The store occupies a total of 1,600 sq m and opened on Thursday, the statement said.

Trans World Holding is one of Egypt’s biggest conglomerates. It is owner of Dandy Mega Mall, which is currently undergoing an expansion to increase its size.
