eHosting DataFort and Synergy Professional Services (SPS), have joined forces to deliver to the region security conscious ‘Ethical Hacking’ courses.

Regional provider of managed hosting, security and disaster recovery services eHosting DataFort, and Cisco learning solution partner Synergy Professional Services (SPS), have joined forces to deliver to the region ‘Ethical Hacking’ courses.

The two companies have signed an agreement whereby eHosting DataFort will provide the content and the instructors. For its part SPS will provide facilities and expertise in marketing the training courses.

The first course will be conducted in Dubai on August 31st, 2003 and then in Riyadh on September 6th, 2003.

Sameer Sadeh, CEO of eHosting DataFort said the companies were delighted to be working together to provide a course that would help companies in the region address the latest security issues.

“As new tools are being developed and new vulnerabilities discovered day by day, the threats to information security from hackers are rising. To be prepared to deal with security challenges, security professionals need to constantly update their knowledge. We have developed the ‘Ethical Hacking’ course to address all the latest techniques and trends in the network security field so that IT professionals can take appropriate countermeasures against security attacks,” said Sadeh.

The five-day ‘Ethical Hacking’ courses developed by eHosting DataFort examines the tools, techniques and methodologies that hackers use and illustrates different ways in which hackers can operate, how they infiltrate organisations and the subsequent damage that can follow. The courses also provide hands-on training on hacking techniques to help security and the IT professional gain an understanding of the mindset of a hacker.

“We are keen to partner with leading security organisations in the region like eHosting DataFort to address the growing need for quality security courses,” said Melad Ghabrial, president and CEO of Synergy Professional Services. “The partnership with eHosting DataFort enables us to help companies keep pace with security developments that are vital for the long-term development of the IT sector in the region.”

“By joining forces with SPS we will be able to enhance our ability to meet the increasing security needs of organisations in the region,” said Sabri Al Azazi, Chief Operating Officer of eHosting DataFort. “We have chosen SPS as our partner for delivering the ‘Ethical Hacking’ course because we are confident that they have the market knowledge, skills and commitment for delivering world class training courses in the region,” Ghabrial added.
