The holiday will start on September 11 and work will resume on September 18
Kuwait’s Civil Services Commission announced yesterday that the Eid Al Adha 2016 holiday will span seven days starting Sunday, September 11 and ending Sunday, September 18.
Arafat Day, the day Muslims stand on Mount Arafat in Makkah as part of their pilgrimage, will fall on September 11. It will be followed by three days of Eid celebrations, which will begin on September 12 and last until September 14, reported Kuwait Times.
Thursday, September 15 will also be a holiday because it stands between two holidays.
Work for the public sector will resume on Sunday, September 18.
