Emaar Economic City completes most infrastructure work at KAEC

The company has finished developing the water and sewage networks in the King Abdullah Economic City

Emaar Economic City completes most infrastructure work at KAEC
The King Abdullah Economic City is due for completion in 2025, according to the projects website

Emaar Economic City, a unit of Dubai based developer Emaar Properties PJSC,
said on Tuesday that it had completed most of the infrastructure work on the
King Abdullah Economic City project.

Emaar Economic City has
developed 1.5 million square meters of industrial land that it is ready to
lease to investors and finished developing the water and sewage networks in the
city, said the company in an emailed statement. Emaar Economic City said it
also made progress last year on developing a Red Sea port in the area with
Saudi Binladin Group.

The King Abdullah Economic
City, around 120 km north of Jeddah measuring 168 million square meters, is due
for completion in 2025, according to the project’s website.
