EMC, the storage vendor has announced a value-added reseller agreement with Kuwait-based Turnkey Systems (ITS). EMC believes, ITS’s presence across the Middle East will help it expand its reach in several key markets, with an initial concentration in the GCC countries, and plans for increased coverage for EMC across the region.
“As the first dedicated storage vendor to partner with the company, we will provide a sophisticated infrastructure for data, thereby strengthening its offerings to clients. In return, we expect EMC to benefit from exposure to ITS customers across the region, in sectors as diverse as banking, telecoms, education, retail, government and oil,” says Mohammed Amin, general manager, EMC Middle East.
The 23-year old ITS, which produces its own hardware, software and networking storage solutions will provide greater access to important industries, including the telecommunications and banking sectors says EMC.
“It is critical for us to develop in line with customer requirements if we are to remain a dominant presence in the region’s technology market with reliable storage facilities for business-critical information,” adds Khaled Alsaeid, managing director and GM, ITS.
