The High Rise Real Estate has announced a US $1.9 billion (AED7 billion) development for Ras Al-Khaimah.

Architectural design firm Dimensions has developed a conceptual design based on the Emirates Flag.

The development will be spread over seven blocks, with each themed around one of the Emirates. Each block will include a residential tower, five-star hotel and office tower.

The Emirates Flag project is scheduled for launch in the early stages of 2007. It will be developed in association with Ras Al-Khaimah Free Zone Authority, Dream Industrial Park FZCO and A&A Investment Group.

Around 20% of the project will be built in the sea. The development also includes a large man-made marina. Contractors have yet to be appointed.
