Emirates Neon opts for CRM

Metadata, the mid-market Customer Relationship Management (CRM) vendor has implemented a CRM project for Emirates Neon. The solution will automate the sales force, manage media status and jobs, track proposals and help its 375 employees manage customer information and sales across the UAE.

The solution will automate the sales force, manage media status and jobs, track proposals and help its 375 employees manage customer information and sales across the UAE.

The project implemented by the Dubai-based Metadata Technologies using Soffront CRM version 8. The 26-year old Emirates Neon, which offers signage and outdoor media signage currently, uses a legacy sales process, which is a combination of manual and semi-automated systems.

“Business information that used to be available from various sources is now available with one single click. This enables our staff to serve customers better and quicker. We looked for an implementation partner who has the most experience in local CRM implementation. Metadata offered a cost effective solution with local CRM implementation experience”, says Rehan Merchant, executive director at Emirates Neon.

Starting with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) system, Emirates Neon aims to fully automate sales reporting systems, which will minimise the workload on sales support staff, providing two hours of individual timesavings per day. Emirates Neon also plans to use the new web-based CRM system for job order automation, proposal tracking, media occupancy status, client and expense tracking.

Madar Research, a regional analyst firm estimates that the CRM market in the UAE is worth US$90 million by 2008.
