Emirates has enhanced its access in the Australian market by partnering with Western Australia’s Skywest Airlines. The deal will see Skywest provide feeder services for EK’s flights, as well as providing onward connections from Perth for incoming passengers. The interline deal also means that passengers will only need one ticket when flying with both Emirates and Skywest.
“Some of Australia’s unique attractions can be found across this vast State. Now world-famous destinations such as tropical Broome in the north, colourful Kalgoorlie in the goldfields and historic Albany in the south, will be more accessible to Emirates customers,” says Eddie Lim, Emirates’s area manager, Australia.
“Perth is an extremely popular destination for European passengers and we are confident that we can now make regional WA their next stop,” he adds.
Skywest flies to 13 destinations throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory, using a fleet of Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 aircraft.
