Emirates Post has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP) to boost the number of nationals from the United Arab Emirates working in the mail sector.
The two companies are planning to launch a number of joint initiatives in the future, including a three-month diploma to be conducted by the Emirates Post Training and Development Centre in Dubai.
The educational programme has been designed to raise the professional skills of Emiratis and train them to establish successful careers in Emirates Post and
other private sector companies engaged in mail activities.
"We welcome this partnership with Emirates Nationals Development Programme, because it will make Emirates Post one of the major players in boosting the Emiratisation drive," commented His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, minister for public sector development and chairman of Emirates Post Holding Group.
"The diploma programme will ensure that young Emiratis that are seeking jobs can equip themselves with the right skills and knowledge to enter the mail sector. This joint initiative should also serve as a model for other organisations wishing to create job opportunities for Emiratis and help accelerate the pace towards Emiratisation in new sectors," he added. For all the latest transport news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
