Renovation done to bring sales office in line with airline's brand standards
Ras Al Khaimah's Emirates sales office finally reopened for business on Tuesday, following a period of extensive refurbishment.
One of the first Emirates offices to open in the UAE, the renovation has been done to bring the office in line with the airline's rigorous brand standards, according to a report by Dubai daily, Emirates 24/7.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airlines Group, said: “Ras Al Khaimah is an important market for Emirates and the RAK sales office has consistently played a key role in our strong sales from the emirate.”
The 112 square meters office will feature eight dedicated flight booking and Emirates Holidays reservations desks, while staff will also handle general customer enquiries.
“We understand that even in this age of internet and phone bookings, many customers still prefer or enjoy face to face interaction, and our experienced staff provide solutions to our passengers’ complex travel requirements,” Sheikh Ahmed added.
His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, formally opened the office with a ribbon cutting ceremony, in front of a crowd of local dignitaries and senior Emirates executives.
