Encoda Systems and Arkemedia Technologies have teamed up to integrate the latter's suite of DAM tools with Encoda's solutions.
Encoda Systems and Arkemedia Technologies have teamed up once again to expand their joint development activity. This time, the two companies will work to integrate Arkemedia’s suite of digital asset management (DAM) tools with Encoda's solutions designed for both the advertising and broadcast markets.
"We are demonstrating our commitment to the industry and our customers by combining best-of-class products in a proven, unified and integrated solution - customers are no longer at the peril of project based integration implementations whereby multiple vendors are selected to deploy new digital workflow solutions based on a promise,” commented Don Doctor, CEO of Encoda Systems. “With the closer relationship between Encoda Systems and Arkemedia, we will now be delivering solutions devised at the engineering level that offer our customers a digital foundation which truly enables them to seek and exploit new revenue channels that were previously unavailable."
The data model deployed by the two companies will also adhere to any given standard or series of standards concurrently within a single system. This approach allows metadata to be made available without standards/format concerns and also prevents users from being forced to commit to a standard that may not become widely adopted within the industry.
"Our customers are becoming increasingly discerning regarding solutions,” Vincenzo Roberti, CEO of Arkemedia said. “It is no longer enough to provide a layer of asset management over the top of automation or scheduling applications with unproven results. The real need is to offer totally extensible, scalable and reliable solutions that can apply to any workflow and deliver efficiencies and new services. Encoda and Arkemedia provide these capabilities in a highly cost effective environment."
