PR and event duo have have rebranded their business and are set to expand across the GCC
People come to Dubai all the time to party and enjoy the bars, clubs and restaurants the city has to offer.
Elsa Roodt and Katie Harvey were different, they decided to make their love of partying into a successful career. The duo, from South Africa and Ireland respectively, set up Dubai Party Queens five years ago and build a solid reputation for some of the best events in the city. This quickly developed into the PR and digital communications consultancy, DPQ Communications, and recently the company matured further and solidified its place in the Middle East media landscape by announcing it had rebranded as Q Communications.
Employing a 20-strong team and with a list of clients that includes Lush, Jumeirah Restaurant Group, Shangri La Hotels, Accor Group and Tweezerman, the new company is also planning to expand across the GCC, with a launch in Abu Dhabi next month set to be its first move outside of Dubai.
"Abu Dhabi has an outstanding business environment and for us there was no doubt our second office should be there," said Elsa.
The company is especially renowned for their innovative and eye-catching invites and they make worthy recipients of this week's Entrepreneurs of the Week accolade.
Taking inspiration from Justin Bieber, Q Communications this month began running their own teaser campaign ahead of the opening of the office in the UAE capital on October 1.
"We’re really excited to announce the team over the next couple of weeks, so watch this space," said Katie.
