Eos targeting Middle East passengers

Business carrier Eos is introducing flights to Dubai this summer, expanding its network to three destinations.

Business carrier Eos is introducing flights to Dubai this summer, expanding its network to three destinations.

The US airline, which flies between London and New York, will offer daily services from Stansted Airport to Dubai International Airport from July 6.

"Our community includes many guests and investors from the Gulf region who feel that Dubai and Eos are a perfect fit," said Jack Williams, Eos' CEO and president. "UAE consumers appreciate products and services of the highest quality and we've created a travel experience that authentically reflects their lifestyle, an extension of the way they want to live while flying."

Elsewhere, the carrier is also introducing services from Stansted to Newark International Airport on May 8. It currently provides 44 weekly flights between London and New York's JFK Airport.

"In addition, our corporate and leisure travellers based in New Jersey have told us they are eagerly anticipating our route between Newark and London Stansted," Williams said.

According to management, Eos is the only airline to operate 757s configured for just 48 passengers. The airline was launched in October 2005 and accounts for one of every nine travellers flying from JFK airport to London.
