ESET expands in Middle East

ESET Distribution has inked deals with three distributors in the region to supply its NOD32 anti-virus software.

ESET Distribution has inked deals with three distributors in the region to supply its NOD32 anti-virus software.

ESET Middle East has awarded distribution rights to Anis Technology Centre in Libya, Kassoumeh Digital Solutions (KDS) in Syria and Franco Pinto in Sudan in a bid to increase the take-up of its products.

The distributors will be promoting ESET NOD32 solutions to the corporate segment and offering after-sales service and support to customers directly.

"The Middle East and Africa (MEA) are very important markets for ESET. Our objective is to ensure that we offer our best-of-breed anti-threat solutions combined with excellent service and support to customers in this region," said Neo Neophytou, managing director at ESET Distribution Middle East.

ESET's NOD32 anti-virus software utilises ThreatSense technology, a detection system based on advanced heuristics to proactively identify previously unknown viruses, trojans, spyware and phishing attacks in real-time.
