eSys makes ISO grade

eSys has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in recognition of the high quality of its assembly division. The certification was awarded after a comprehensive audit of eSys’ supply, assembly and computer parts installation process.

eSys has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in recognition of the high quality of its assembly division. The certification was awarded after a comprehensive audit of eSys’ supply, assembly and computer parts installation process.

“The ISO certification is a recognition of our strong customer focus and demonstrates our willingness to maintain the greatest level of excellence to support customer needs,” said Pavan Gupta, EMEA director at eSys. “At the same time, we believe quality is an ongoing process rather than a definite target, and we take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the continual improvement of all business processes to further enhance overall standards.”

The Chamber Certification Assessment Services (CCAS), in recognition of eSys meeting stringent international quality management systems requirements, awarded the ISO certification. According to the external auditors, the root cause analysis system at eSys’ PC assembly division was in line with high international standards.

“The ISO certification is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our employees, who have strived hard to ensure that international quality procedures are in place and strictly adhered to,” added Gupta.

“eSys has set superior standards for itself, both in terms of operational excellence and customer satisfaction, and we are certain that achieving this prestigious certification will serve to further enhance our credibility in the market,” he concluded.

eSys claims that it is one of the few companies in the region to adopt electro-static discharge (ESD) protection standards to prevent any occurrence of the ESD phenomena at PC integration shop floor level, which could destroy semiconductor products and negatively impact the quality of assembled PCs. eSys has these standards and controls in place at its Jebel Ali assembly facility.

eSys’ Jebel Ali plant also meets the standards set out by the EU’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, allowing it to export products into Europe from its Jebel Ali plant.
