Abu Dhabi airline looks to bolster its UK-based staff to support 'rapid, dynamic expansion'
Etihad Airways will hold a cabin crew recruitment day in London on April 28.
In a statement, the airline said that people interested in attending the recruitment day and joining the airline’s team of cabin crew, food and beverage managers, and qualified inflight chefs, should register in advance by visiting www.etihad.com/careers/cabin.
“To support the rapid, dynamic expansion of Etihad Airways, we are delighted to host our recruitment drive in the United Kingdom, a key market for the airline,” said Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways’ Vice President Guest Services.
“We hope to attract and recruit individuals who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to deliver remarkable hospitality.
“Our team hails from more than 110 nationalities and enjoys great career development opportunities commencing as cabin crew, an inflight chef or food and beverage manager and progressing to onboard leadership and management roles.”
Almost 1,222 British nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 688 core staff, 367 cabin crew and 167 pilots.
New cabin crew members undergo a seven-week training programme conducted at Etihad Airways' Training Academy in Abu Dhabi. For all the latest transport news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
