The ADIPEC 2025 energy exhibition has opened today at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. More than 2,000 exhibitors are taking part in the four-day event, with hundreds of thousands of energy professionals from the Gulf, Europe, Asia and North America expected to attend.
The event, one of the largest of its kind in the region, will focus on sectors such as digitalisation, decarbonisation, maritime, logistics and artificial intelligence. ADIPEC provides a platform for governments, energy companies and investors to network and showcase technology and projects in oil, gas and renewable energy.
Officials said the conference will feature technical workshops, ministerial panels and sessions on sustainability, energy transition and innovation. Delegates are expected to discuss ways to balance energy demand with carbon reduction goals and how to develop the region’s renewable energy capacity.
Abu Dhabi has positioned ADIPEC as a central event for the global energy sector, highlighting the emirate’s growing influence in both conventional and renewable energy. Exhibitors include major oil companies, technology providers and financial institutions.
Analysts said the conference comes at a time when Gulf states are accelerating energy diversification, investing in renewable infrastructure, and seeking international partnerships. ADIPEC also provides an opportunity to announce new projects and contracts.
With energy markets under pressure from geopolitical tensions and the global transition to clean energy, the event is expected to attract significant media attention. Government officials said ADIPEC 2025 will showcase the UAE’s capacity to lead the region in technological innovation and sustainability.
The exhibition is also aimed at connecting investors with developers and companies in the Gulf, providing opportunities for regional growth in energy and infrastructure sectors. More than 200,000 people are expected to attend the event, which runs from 3-6 November.
