Bacary Sagna has been slotted to speak at Arabian Business Leadership Summit on June 21 in Dubai, on how to perform when you’re at the top.

Sagna is a retired French professional footballer who primarily played as a right-back during his career.

Sagna began his professional career at Auxerre, where he made over 200 appearances across all competitions.

In 2007, he moved to Arsenal and became a key player for the Gunners, making over 200 appearances in his seven-year spell with the club.

He then joined Manchester City in 2014, where he won the Premier League in his first season. Sagna also represented the French national team, earning 65 caps and playing in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.

He retired from professional football in March 2019 after a short spell with Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer.

Sagna will join former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, former Etihad boss and Knighthood Global Limited chairman James Hogan, Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO, Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), and boxing legend Amir Khan, to discuss the challenges and experiences faced by modern day global leaders.

Following the keynote speeches, Cameron will also host a private lunch for business leaders.
