A former manager at Heston Blumenthal's world famous Fat Duck restaurant in the UK has been appointed as the new general manager of The Ivy Dubai.
Julian Biddulph, who will bring more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the high profile role, has also held management roles at restaurant groups including Marco Pierre White Group, D&D London, and Gordon Ramsay Holdings.
Most recently, he was general manager of Gordon Ramsay, Doha, and head sommelier at St Regis Hotel, Doha.
Commenting on his appointment by Jumeirah Restaurant Group Dubai, Biddulph said: “Working with such an iconic British concept feels like a home away from home. I’m looking forward to hosting patrons – old and new – and providing them with that warm, personable yet impeccable service that defines The Ivy experience.”
Biddulph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Catering and Hotel Management and brings twenty years of hospitality experience to his new role.
