New Portsmouth owner Sulaiman Al Fahim has confirmed that current manger Paul Hart will continue in the role.

“Paul Hart is the right choice for the club,” Al Fahim told Arabian Business on Tuesday.

The English Premier League has given Al Fahim’s £60m ($98m) takeover bid its approval and the UAE national will officially become chairman of the club later on Tuesday.

Al Fahim also told Arabian Business that current CEO Peter Storrie would continue in the role, and that the club's senior management team would be retained.

An official announcement will be made by the club in the next few hours.

Al Fahim first signed a deal to take over the club on May 27. The deal is being done through Al Fahim’s investment vehicle, Al Fahim Asia Associates, which is entirely owned by Al Fahim.
