VERSACE FALL/WINTER

A visit to outer space. That is the theme of Donatella Versace's fall collection, including 'sports and space' wear – clothes made of futuristic materials that blur the lines between ultra-formal and casual. Still, one can't wear the same pair of metallic zippered space-leggings to work each day, which is why we're glad Versace included more appropriate formal wear into the fall/winter mix. Expect zodiac-inspired prints in maroon and dark purple, along with earthy tones on jackets and trousers.

LONGCHAMP PÉNÉLOPE TOTE

Step away from the bag, gentlemen. While the tote is considered unisex in the current world of style, Longchamp is firmly an accessory for the ladies. Why? Because it's been creating leather goods that ladies swoon over since World War II. This Pénélope tote is as iconic as they come, with clean-cut edges and lightly flared gussets that provide it with that distinct silhouette.

TUMI TRAVEL ACCESSORIES

The Land Rover of the fashion world, TUMI makes products that can go just about anywhere without breaking a sweat (and look good doing it). The brand has branched out from its usual speciality – travel bags – with new accessories range that is both clean and contemporary. All are built from lightweight, durable fabric – some are even made out of a bullet-proof Kevlar weave – and functionality is key; there should be no more fumbling about looking for that boarding pass. A new addition to the range are headphones, which are produced by the audio masters at Monster.

PAL ZILERI BACK TO ITS ROOTS

The Italian menswear stalwart that is Pal Zileri has been supplying its own version of European elegance since it was founded back in the 1980s. Known for its slim silhouettes (and penchant for all things dark-hued) it makes use of wool sourced only from the world's leading manufacturers, and then put together by master craftsmen with decades of experience. Clothes are sleek but made to be functional above all else, and this season is all about clothing that has been designed to be dressed-up or dressed-down with ease.
