Two expat workers were arrested and deported in Kuwait for cutting grass in a public area, it was reported.

The Kuwait Times reported the duo, whose nationalities were not revealed, were spotted cutting grass and pulling up plants on Kuwait City’s Sixth Ring Road by the director of environment at Kuwait Police, Police Lt Col Hussein Al Ajmi.

The two men, who claim they were gathering the vegetation to feed farm animals, were arrested for violating the environmental law and were deported.
