UAE and French businesses set to benefit from a variety of events aimed at providing opportunities to boost business networks.
A trade mission will be held in June to boost business ties between the UAE and France.
The mission has been organised by the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) – a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiative – and the French Business Council – a Dubai-based branch of the Union of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abroad (UCCIFE) to explore possibilities of cooperation and partnership.
Looking to creating lasting networks with counterparts in France, the board members of the DBWC will visit Paris to meet with a group of French business owners and discuss potential collaborations which will be mutually beneficial to both countries.
The initiative follows DBWC’s successful series of similar events held in the UK last year, which were organised to enhance cooperation between the two countries’ business communities.
In May 2014, a group of members from the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, DBWC and RUWAD Establishment in Sharjah, met with business officials in London, Manchester and Belfast.
The DBWC aims to achieve the same level of success within this year’s cooperation with The French Business Council, as well as in the consequent trade missions to be organised with the UAE’s major trade partners.
Since the establishment in 1987, The French Business Council has gathered a total network of 680 members, which are either representatives of the French enterprises based in the UAE or of the local companies engaged in economic relationships with France.
