Fire protection experts Pyroplex return

Pyroplex continues to strengthen its brand awareness by attending this year's Big 5.

Following a series of successful technical seminars throughout the region earlier this year, Pyroplex continues to strengthen its brand awareness by attending this year's Big 5. The UK-based manufacturer of passive fire protection systems will be displaying a range of its products and will also be launching new products including fire-rated door hinges and acoustic seals.

"We are back at the Big 5 this year to capitalise on our continued expansion in the UAE and other Middle Eastern markets," said Will Turner, export sales manager. "The latest product launches and our new association with the well established Emirates Specialities gives us a much broader scope with which to promote Pyroplex at the 2007 show."

Emirates Specialities was appointed as Pyroplex construction products distributor in the UAE earlier this year. Its experience and resources in the construction sector made the company ideally placed to distribute key fire safety products such as fire-rated pipe collars, pipe wraps and expansion joint seals.

"Pyroplex passive fire protection seals are a natural addition to our extensive range of construction products and we anticipate keen interest at the Big 5," said Ian Fielder, vice president, sales and marketing, Emirates Specialities.

For its fire-rated door products, Pyroplex continues its association with local distributor Konsource Trading. Over the years, Pyroplex fire door products have been used on some very high-profile projects including the Burj Al Arab, the Palm Jumeirah and several major contracts in Dubai Marina.

"The Pyroplex product launches at this year's Big 5 will reinforce the substantial growth that Konsource has so far achieved in the UAE fire-stopping market," said Joseph Parackal, managing director, Konsource Trading.
