Foundry Networks consolidates plans with regional office

High-speed data networking company, Foundry Networks has added the finishing touches to its regional focus with an office in Dubai Internet City, and promises aggressive plans for the future.

Foundry Networks has just opened its doors to the region’s resellers in a concerted effort to accelerate its expansion plans across the Middle East.

Based in Dubai Internet City, the company hopes to take advantage of the promise of new Internet-related business that DIC is looking to bring to the region.

"The Middle East provides great opportunities for Foundry," says Farook Majeed, recently appointed regional director for Foundry Networks.

"Developments such as Dubai Internet City reflect the region's investment in technology and the increasing performance demands of its infrastructure. I'm confident that Foundry's strong leadership in high-speed data networking will prove to be a good fit," he added.

Foundry Networks has promised aggressive plans to target the region’s leading ISPs and enterprise customers with its end-to-end networking solutions, especially in the Internet arena.

"Being a dominant player in the high-speed data networking market, including Layer 2/3 switching, Layer 4 - 7 Web switching and Internet routing, Foundry is well-positioned to become the vendor of choice now and in the future," says Majeed.
