Four Saudis are feared to have drowned after they failed to return from a pleasure boat trip, the Saudi Gazette reported.

The paper quoted the Border Guard in Qatif saying that the boat have left on Wednesday but failed to return to shore. Coast guard patrol units have been searching for the missing boat, which had been due to return by Thursday evening to Al-Mazrouiyah harbour.

Neighbouring countries have been asked to assist in the search.
