Motherboard vendor Foxconn has teamed up with the Modern Freight Company (MFC) to add more warehouse facilities in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The move is designed to support Foxconn’s growing operations in the Middle East.

According to Foxconn, the appointment of MFC to manage its warehouse facilities will bring extra flexibility to customer orders.

“Such growth of our company requires proper logistics management and a very flexible range of procedures to fit regulations of the Free Zones and local customs of each specific territory,” said Vadim Lisenko, marketing executive at Foxconn.

The move has already wiped four hours off the lead-time of orders and means that the progress of each order in the warehouse can be tracked by the firm’s logistics department.
