Frasers Hospitality eyes new Mideast hotels

Hotelier recently opened the 19-storey Fraser Suites Seef in Bahrain.

Global hotel operators Frasers Hospitality are looking to expand further into the Middle East, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The hotelier has recently opened the 19-storey Fraser Suites Seef in Bahrain and this year plans to open the 45-storey Fraser Suites near Dubai’s Media City and the Fraser Suites in Doha.

The company added that it is aiming to open two more properties over the next two years, in Oman and Saudi Arabia.

“The Middle East remains a most exciting growth area for business and tourism and, strategically for Frasers Hospitality, an important pillar in our global network”, said Choe Peng Sum, CEO of Frasers Hospitality.

Frasers Hospitality currently manages 31 properties – a total of 4,800 individual residences - in 19 cities worldwide.
