French Burj Khalifa drug dealer captured after police sting

A Frenchman has been sentenced to life in prison after he was caught by Dubai police selling cocaine from his apartment in Burj Khalifa, according to a report by 7DAYS newspaper.

The 35-year-old expat was captured as part of a sting operation by Dubai Police, after one of his customers was arrested and agreed to help apprehend him.

Dubai Court of First Instance heard 67g of cocaine was foudn in his apartment, hidden in boxes of Panadol painkillers and folic acid, the report said.

The dealer will be deported after his sentence and has 15 days to appeal the sentence.
