Global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has announced plans to establish a regional office in early 2008, expanding its healthcare arm across the Middle East.

Global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has announced plans to establish a regional office in early 2008, expanding its healthcare arm across the Middle East.

The company - which tracks a number of industry verticals - provides market, technology and demographic analysis in sectors such as medical devices and medical imaging, healthcare information technology (IT), patient monitoring and drug discovery technologies.

Anand Rangachary, managing director for South Asia and Middle East, said: "Our entry into this market is in response to an enormous growth potential for diverse industries in the region.

"We expect to strengthen our foothold and at the same time work closer with companies to design their strategies in an increasingly global marketplace.

The firm's portfolio of services also includes strategy consulting, financial consulting, market intelligence, conferences and management training.
