Network provider AscenVision has penned a partnership deal with Fusion Distribution to sell the vendor’s WAN traffic management solutions to resellers across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The distributor says it is entering the WAN traffic management solutions market due to an increase in customer demand for reliable and higher performance WAN solutions.

Lee Reynolds, group marketing director at Fusion, said: “Customers keep requesting solutions to build a robust and high-speed network and offer uninterrupted internet services for maximum productivity and improved customer satisfaction. We have since then conducted a series of market investigations on various WAN traffic management devices including some of the name brands. AscenVision’s AscenLink draws our attention due to its unparallel reliability, ease-of-integration functionalities and solid performance. Moreover, the easy-to-deploy feature saves lots of efforts to integrate AscenLink into complex network environments.”

AscenLink is a WAN traffic management solution integrated with a complete set of features such as WAN load balancing, fault tolerance, VPN tunnel routing and optimum routing. It allows businesses to establish constant availability of WAN links and effectively manage traffic patterns to accelerate critical application performance.

Jacy Chang, business development manager at AscenVision, stated: “It is great to join forces with Fusion Distribution to penetrate the fast growing MENA market. We are confident that AscenLink is a solid compliment to Fusion’s existing security products to form a total network solution for enterprises.”

Fusion works closely with a number of selected partners throughout the Middle East to deliver leading security and content filtering solutions, including Celestix, RSA, SurfControl and Kaspersky, and has recently added Webroot to its vendor portfolio.
