Haitham Mattar, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority said: “RAKTDA is delighted to have hosted the 6th stage of the UAE Tour in Ras Al Khaimah, and specifically at Jebel Jais, one of the UAE's most iconic and stunning natural landmarks. Both the professional race and the UAE Tour Challenge - named the “Jebel Jais Climb Challenge” – were exhilarating to watch as the world’s best riders and amateur participants raced up the mountain to grace the finish line. Sports and adventure tourism is key to Ras al Khaimah’s tourism development strategy, and the UAE Tour is definitely an important addition to our rich sports events portfolio.”
