This year's Abu Dhabi International Book Fair features 1,000 exhibitors from 50 countries, with more than 500,000 titles on display, catering to publishing industry professionals, fans of literature, poetry, and culture as well as families and students.
India named as the Guest of Honour for this edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2019, much of the fair’s programming is dedicated to reflecting and showcasing the diversity and richness of the country’s culture. 'Illustrators' and Art Corner Competition', which took place during the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2019. This new competition is part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s efforts to ensure that poetry and literature - especially proverbs and adages - a source of inspiration for illustrators. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, from 24th - 30th April at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2019, feature 1,000 exhibitors from 50 countries, with more than 500,000 titles on display. The annual fair is a major event in the publishing sector in the Middle East and North Africa. Indian Pavilion will host Indian writers, authors and literary scholars who will serve as ambassadors for the literature and art of their country. The event provides a platform for Emirati writers, intellectuals and publishers to promote quintessential Emirati values, principles and humanitarian message of tolerance and acceptance. Several Arab publishers from Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are taking part in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2019. This year’s edition of ADIBF also sees the introduction of three new interactive zones: the E-Zone, Comic Corner and the Entertainment Zone.
