Gallery: DP World and ENOC pavilions at the Expo 2020 Dubai
Under the theme of 'Making Trade Flow' and 'Reimagine Energy', has revealed details of its pavilion at the global event.
The pavilion, which will remain a permanent fixture once the event concludes, is centred around the concept of 'Making Trade Flow'. DP World, which official is the Premier Global Trade Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, said the pavilion is being developed in line with the event’s sub-themes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability. The pavilion will feature augmented and virtual reality that will allow visitors to see the real-time movement of cargo across the world, and learn how global trade happens and its impact on every aspect of everyone's life every day. Visitors to the pavilion will also be introduced to innovations including DP World Cargospeed, the transportation system powered by Hyperloop, and BoxBay, an automated high rise stacking system for containers that is set to revolutionise global supply chains. ENOC Group is the official Integrated Energy Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, under the theme ‘Reimagine Energy’, the pavilion will take visitors on a journey through the role of energy in the past, present and future and look at the company’s plans to drive energy sustainability. The architectural theme of the pavilion draws on the design of oil storage tanks with five distinct structures including four ‘houses’ taking visitors on a multi-sensory 18-minute journey through four distinctive narratives: Discovery – what energy is; Harness – what energy enables; Collaborate – what energy needs; and Reimagine – what energy promises.
