Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi stated that the tourism sector is one of the solid foundations of Ras Al Khaimah’s development process.
Sheikh Saud stressed that Ras Al Khaimah’s stature as a promising and fast growing tourism destination was achieved by careful strategic planning, teamwork, and the concerted efforts and endeavours of authorities.
The emirate’s latest adventure tourism offering includes the Jebel Jais Flight, Jais Sky Tour and Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park, in addition to the brand new Jais Adventure Centre and Jais Sky Maze.
Jais Sky Maze promises a thrilling experience suspended ten metres above ground. Spanning two levels, the Jais Sky Maze calls out to adventure seekers of all ages to take to the sky and navigate through several obstacles including rope swings, wobbly bridges, swinging loops and more.
Tourism has helped advance the emirate’s progress, as the number of people visiting Ras Al Khaimah has more than doubled from 400,000 to over one million over the past seven years.
