Dubai Airshow 2007 – Day 1

Emirates has ordered 120 Airbus 350s, 11 A380s and 12 Boeing 777-300 ERs in a massive $31.7bn order.

The Dubai Air Show, being held from November 11th – 15th has attracted a wide range of aviation companies from across the globe.

The A380 remains one of the most impressive sights of the show. The aircraft launched its first commercial flight earlier last month with a Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Australia.

Airplanes of all sizes, for all types of use, are on display.


Sheikh Mohammad, the Duputy Ruler of the UAE, toured the air show, followed by the world’s media.

Emirates has made two massive orders at the Dubai air show with Airbus and Boeing.

Dubai is fast becoming an aviation hub with DAE expected to invest billions in the industry.
