Dubai beach clubs you should try

Whether it’s for brunching, sunbathing, or partying, we’ve got you covered

Dubai is often referred to as a beach haven, where shores are clean and waters are clear. Because of that, more and more beach clubs are popping up in the city. Naturally, we decided to share the ones we think you need to try:

Cove Beach: Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s new beach venue is intimate and cosy and definitely worth a try. Besides its beach lounge and bar, Cove also comprises of an indoor restaurant. It hosts a series of events, has a resident DJ, and looks out to the Burj Al Arab.

Nikki Beach: The recently opened Miami concept on Pearl Jumeirah is a must-try if you’re a fan of luxury beach clubs. The brand is a favourite among celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé and features everything from DJs to events and a restaurant.

Blue Marlin: This one’s for fans of beach parties, because you can’t go to Blue Marlin and not dance. Open only on Fridays and Saturdays, the beach club houses a restaurant with popular brunches, but we like it for its music and entertainment. It’s located in the Golden Tulip hotel off Sheikh Zayed Road.

Nasimi Beach: A definite favourite amongst Dubai beach goers, Nasimi Beach is located in the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah. It’s open seven days a week and comprises of a restaurant, lounge area (where you can also sunbathe) and a beach. We love its fast service, all-white décor, and large sunbathing area.

Eden Beach Club: Another Palm Jumeirah favourite is Eden in Rixos. It’s large, luxurious, and great for big groups as it has a number of cabanas which – wait for it – have their own Jacuzzis. It has a pool and beach area as well as a restaurant. It usually has a resident DJ but also hosts various events.

Puro Beach: The Mallorca-based lifestyle brand opened a beach club in Dubai in 2013, but it’s still unknown to many due to its slightly unusual location – on the 6th floor of the Conrad hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. It features a lounge, DJ, terrace, garden area, pool, and restaurant.

Zero Gravity: A great choice for those living in JBR, Zero Gravity is located in the Sky Dive Dubai Drop Zone. It has a large pool and beach area with skyline views of the Dubai Marina. It’s more casual that the other choices on the list but still pretty high end.
