New images reveal Jean Nouvel-designed Louvre Abu Dhabi is well underway

The project which was scheduled for completion by the end of this year, is located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District featured a 180m domed that with a steel latticework that in addition to serving as a decorative element, will also create a microclimate without excess solar gain. The project has also gained a three pearl design rating certificate awarded by the Urban Planning Council (UPC) as part of its Estidama Pearl Building Rating System.
