nCargo volume in 2015: 134,565 tonnes
nMuscat International Airport recorded 134,565 tonnes of cargo in 2015, an increase of 10.2 per cent on 2014.

nCountry: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
nCargo volume in 2015: 183,824 tonnes
nThe emirate of Sharjah’s airport recorded a 23.5 per cent decrease in cargo for 2015, however remained in the list of top 10 Middle East airports, handling 183,824 tonnes.
