Where to take your family for the spring holidays
From destinations featuring monkey forests to islands comprising of long beaches

1. Salalah: A stay at Oman’s tropical oasis, Salalah, is a great natural getaway. It’s known for its banana plantations, seasonal waterfalls, and Arabian Sea beaches. A package for this is a three-night stay, including a daily breakfast, at a 5-star resort set along the Indian Ocean with rooms built around a lagoon.

2. Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka has everything from long beaches to spice garden to elephant zoos. It’s perfect for a relaxing yet adventurous holiday. The exotic island is also abundant in cultural sites, of which eight are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Flight Centre’s package for the island includes a four or five-night stay at a 4 or 5-star hotel, including different dining options and round-trip transfers.

3. Bali: It doesn’t get better than Bali when it comes to vacations. If you’re looking for a combination of peaceful beach holiday laced with forest-linked activities for the kids (Monkey Forest anyone?) then Bali is for you. Flight Centre’s Bali package includes a four-night stay at a pool villa in a 3-star hotel. This includes daily breakfast and one lunch as well as tour transfers and sightseeing fees.

4. Athens: We can’t think of a more historically rich place to take your kids to than Athens, Greece. Ancient ruins like the Acropolis and Parthenon are a must-see at least once in a lifetime. The package for Athens includes a three-night stay in a 4-star hotel including daily breakfasts and a 4-wheel bike cycling tour as well as round-trip transfers.

5. Seychelles: These islands are great for a romantic escape that’s also fun for the kids. They’re filled with activities like hiking, snorkeling, and diving. But we don’t think anyone would mind just lying on the beach for the whole holiday either. Flight Centre is offering a three-night stay at a 5-star hotel including daily breakfast and dinner as well as round-trip transfers.
